Canada offers unlimited opportunities to foreign professionals, with business experience and entrepreneurial skills,
interested in establishing businesses in Canada and investing in the Canadian economy. It has developed one of the most
comprehensive business immigration programs in the world to attract experienced business professionals who can help to contribute
to the continued development of a strong Canadian economy. There are three sub-categories to the Business Immigration program under which you can apply for permanent residence.
For experienced business professionals interested in making a significant monetary investment in the
Canadian economy.
For experienced business professionals interested in operating or managing their own business in Canada.
For individuals capable of contributing to the cultural or athletic life in Canada, or interested in operating a farm in Canada.
Once an applicant has met the criteria for one of these three sub-categories, they will then be assessed against

The following criteria are considered: • Education: 25 points • Business Experience: 35 points • Age: 10 points • Proficiency in English or French: 24 points • Adaptability:   6 points You can figure out your current level of points by viewing or printing out the complete self-assessment tables available under each sub-class.
